leftoverjinx Mobile App is now Available

Yep, you read that right. My blog's got its very own app!

Let's be real: It's not everyday you get a chance to have an app created for you, so when some awesome peeps from Boom Collective got in touch with me for this exciting collaboration, I said yes! In this day and age, majority of people rely on their mobile phones for interaction and information. So I figured this would be another medium for me to reach readers faster.

Here are the app's features:

1. Automatically populates the latest posts from my blog. A friend of mine downloaded the app (I'm an Android user haha so I got someone to download it for me and explore it. It will be available in the Google Play Store very soon, don't worry! Finally available for Android users! Yay! 🎉and what I love about it is there's no loading time and the scrolling is smooth.

2. Tap on the menu button on the upper right side to see links to my other social media accounts. You can even bookmark some of my posts and see it in one folder!

3. The blog posts are presented in a simple but readable and legible manner. Black font and white background, no distracting ads in inappropriate places and no too small fonts.

4. You can easily comment, share (e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or even text message) and bookmark blog posts that you find helpful by clicking on the three buttons above every entry.

5 + 6. Instant access to my Twitter and Instagram accounts. No need to exit the app and open these social media apps to see my updates!

Upon downloading, you will be asked if you want to be notified of new content, you can opt out of that if you want to. Still, when you open my app, the latest updates from my blog will be available for you to look through.

If you ever find my blog useful, please do try downloading the app! I haven't customized it fully yet so my apologies. I'll be tweaking it more when I get ahold of an iPhone. Haha! You can directly search for "leftoverjinx" in the App Store and Google Play Store or click these links: iPhone users, Android users to be directed there. I would love to hear feedback from readers regarding this, and if you encounter any kind of glitches or issues with it, please do let me know. A big thanks once again to Boom Network for this!
