Lost in thought

There's a storm coming. And I am not quoting Anne Hathaway's character in the latest The Dark Knight movie. Hell, I've not even seen the movie yet! Weather's acting up the past few hours, countless tweets and Facebook statuses on how the wind's so strong right now and there were power outages everywhere. So far, things are good here at our place. I just watched this movie in the boob tube and the three of us can't help but relate (and make fun) of the movie.

There's one scene in the movie where we actually thought the lead actress said, "Anong ulam? Anong kulang sa niluto ko?" when she really said, "Anong kulang? Anong kulang sa niluto ko?" Hahahahaha. Yes, you got it oh so right, the movie was about infidelity.

All the while we were sharing stories on being on the other side of the fence, dealing with such women and how we went about with our lives. Hahaha. Grown up talks--I know, right?  And I don't usually share these more private thoughts in my head about such kind of people but I can't help it. I'm so touchy about this subject. Heh.

Some of the things I learned along the way is that:

1. Stop pining for the wrong people. You can't choose who to fall in love with but damn it, you can definitely choose who to have a freaking relationship with. The wrong people are always properly labeled and they always come with disclaimers, don't pretend you don't know how to read. Please.

2. If that person truly feels strongly for you, there will come a point that he will be with you--in the right way and in all aspects. Stop settling for less. Stop settling for some other person's crumbs. Stop being contented with the thrill of the chase or the adrenaline rushes because they only last for a minute.

3. For the love of God Almighty, don't be a selfish bitch. Don't fucking act like a victim of circumstances because you know for a fact that YOU ARE NOT. You have a perfectly working brain, you just have to use it the same way you use your freaking salad bowl of emotions.

I am absolutely no relationship guru or whatsoever, I just a learned a lot from my experiences. It would be so great if people actually follow rules and stop at the first warning. But life is unfair. We just have to deal with everything the best way we can.

Oh my, I could just go on days with this topic. Hahaha.

Anyway, there's another persistent thought in my head that I need to put in action ASAP.
