Banapple (Ayala Triangle Gardens)

It was that time of the month week again when these two call center agents meet to hang out, eat and basically do things that most boyfriends/girlfriends do. Hehe.

Destination: Banapple.

Good thing this restaurant opens early, otherwise we would've been stuck eating breakfast at McDonald's for the nth time in our lives. I love McDo but sometimes, we all would like to try something different, right?

It was a Saturday morning (9:00 am to be exact) and the place was packed. It was quite hot outside so we had to wait to be seated inside the restaurant.

Too many ceiling photos. LOL.
I love restaurants with cute interiors! Details, details, details! But it was still hot inside though, sun was directly hitting the resto. We ordered food right away after we got settled and while waiting, I showed him the camera color filters I bought.

Found this at Jennie Castillo's site. I thought it was a clever and simple way of spicing up photos, taken by either digital or analog cameras. It was very easy to use too!

Playtime with Kola = color!

The box had instructions on how to use these colored plastic filters and comes in 8 different colors, a chain is included in the package but I lost it. Pretty neat, don't you think? I haven't tried using them on the Instax just yet.

Anyway, here's our food:

I thought of ordering the Buttermilk Pancakes since it was breakfast but I just couldn't resist bacon. Even though it was just tiny bits sprinkled on the fried chicken. The serving was huge! I found the chicken a little bit too salty for my taste (sans the bacon). Or lately, everything is just a little too salty for me. Hehe. Anyway, we were really, really full after we finished our plates. Another gastronomical satisfaction for us!

Of course, Banapple is known for their pies, but the desserts would be saved for next time since I don't want to be gluttonous and there was just not enough space in our stomachs anymore.

After a few minutes, we decided to leave since the flux of customers was just continuous. We decided to watch a movie in Glorietta (LOL) and got tix to the 12:55 pm screening. We had two hours to spare so we spent it at Time Zone and sang our hearts away! Hahaha. It was so much fun to sing songs and not have the person next to you judge you by your voice! But yeah, it was good to do that once in a while. And I just had to sing Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus because it makes me happy~ Hehe. Again, no judging happened based on the songs I picked.

By the time the movie was over, we were both zombie-like already. Our minds floating and our bodies craving the much needed sleep. We've been both awake for more than 24 hours! We decided to go home and sleep like logs.

How'd you spent your weekend?
