    Patricia

Majority of my friends call me Trish, I guess you could call me that too. I'm a transcriptions editor with a really messed up body clock and never ending affinity for films, food and written words. I like street art, sweets, neutrals and monochromes, sushi, window seats, golf carts and lazy weekends.

Some of the things that completely preoccupy me are my fixation with the now defunct The Civil Wars and their beautiful art of sadness, Oh Sehun, sleeping, CSS and HTML, @iameden, and those damn hypnotizing Tasty videos. Top country in my travel bucketlist? Iceland. But the one that will always have my heart? Hong Kong.

Let's Get Out Of The City: A Playlist

The albums I always listen to whenever I go out of town or even just commuting to and from work are the following: All of The Civil Wars' albums, Radiohead's In Rainbows and Kodaline's In a Perfect World. Lately, I've added Jeff Buckley's Grace to the rotation. These take turns weekly but mostly I just like listening to The Civil Wars. Hahaha. Last week's trip made me realize listening to TCW isn't the best way to set the mood to a vacation, and I just wanted a mix of feel good songs I can listen to during a car/bus ride or just anything that I can have as background music while chilling out with friends.

I was listening to a couple of other summer/road trip mixes in Spotify, picked out songs that I liked and added a few favorite tracks of my own:

1 // The Beatles - Two Of Us
2 // Noah and The Whale - Five Years Time
3 // Two Door Cinema Club - Sun
    4 // Coconut Records - West Coast
    5 // Pinback - Loro
    6 // Bon Iver - Re: Stacks
    7 // Passion Pit - Moth's Wings
    8 // Silversun Pickups - Lazy Eye
9 // Tame Impala - Feels Like We Only Go Backwards
10 // Florence + The Machine - Dog Days Are Over
11 // The Head and The Heart - Lost In My Mind
12 // Death Cab For Cutie - You Are A Tourist
13 // Arcade Fire - No Cars Go
    14 // Dan Mangan - Road Regrets
    15 // Modest Mouse - Interstate 8
16 // Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home
17 // Angus & Julia Stone - Big Jet Plane
    18 // My Morning Jacket - Golden
    19 // Beck - The Golden Age

As opposed to what Florence Welch was singing about, dog days aren't really over because summer isn't just a once a year season, it's a state of mind! Enjoy!

    5. Is it normal that the home section of SM department store excites me to the core???? Hahaha. Same dilemma here. Contemplating about buying comforters and duvets!

    6. That is a beautiful photo right there. Oh I want to go to El Nido too! Well, there's so many places I want to go to but I have to be patient.
I finished Grey's Anatomy earlier this month and I just cried and cried and cried. My mom calls me crazy for watching it coz I would laugh and cry every single episode.

    7. I've not really traveled until the past year. It took me quite some time to have the resources and time and company to travel! So yes, patience is a must!
I'm getting ready with all the bawling that will ensue. I haven't watched Grey's for so long and I thought I would never again after Sloan and Lexi were killed but then McDreamy died and I just have to know what happened!
