    Patricia

Majority of my friends call me Trish, I guess you could call me that too. I'm a transcriptions editor with a really messed up body clock and never ending affinity for films, food and written words. I like street art, sweets, neutrals and monochromes, sushi, window seats, golf carts and lazy weekends.

Some of the things that completely preoccupy me are my fixation with the now defunct The Civil Wars and their beautiful art of sadness, Oh Sehun, sleeping, CSS and HTML, @iameden, and those damn hypnotizing Tasty videos. Top country in my travel bucketlist? Iceland. But the one that will always have my heart? Hong Kong.

    Between Lenses 03: Urban

    This month's theme is Urban.

The usual morning scene after work
Merriam-Webster defines the word urban as of, relating to, characteristic of, or constituting a city.

Yes, the word urban would always be synonymous to the word city. And the city, for me, will always connote something along the lines of both chaos and convenience. I was raised on the outskirts of Manila but I think my heart always belonged to the city. The past 2 years that I've lived in there, I fell in love with it even more. I might hate the merciless traffic on any given day and all the hustle and bustle, but there's just something about the skylines at night, the buzz of rush and excitement, and the thought that everything is within reach that makes living in the city all worth it.
