    Patricia

Majority of my friends call me Trish, I guess you could call me that too. I'm a transcriptions editor with a really messed up body clock and never ending affinity for films, food and written words. I like street art, sweets, neutrals and monochromes, sushi, window seats, golf carts and lazy weekends.

Some of the things that completely preoccupy me are my fixation with the now defunct The Civil Wars and their beautiful art of sadness, Oh Sehun, sleeping, CSS and HTML, @iameden, and those damn hypnotizing Tasty videos. Top country in my travel bucketlist? Iceland. But the one that will always have my heart? Hong Kong.

    Today, I am...

    GRATEFUL
for the new opportunity given to me. Things happen for reasons we don't understand at first. I am where I am today due to all the choices I made in the past, be it good or bad. Still, I am where I wanted to be. I love my work right now. I really do.

    EXCITED
for what might be my first solo out of town trip on April! It is not set in stone yet but the thought of traveling Pampanga alone for an entire day and experiencing their cuisine gets me all giddy and excited. Another thing I am really anticipating is a close friend's wedding. This is the first time a close friend of mine is getting married and I'm looking forward to be a (small) part of the preparations!

    INSPIRED
by other people that are able to get something going. Be it small projects or something big that a whole nation can participate in. The Internet continuously introduces me to proactive people that I truly admire. Their creative and original ideas, how the execute everything and how once is not enough. I am truly inspired with people who always find different ways of celebrating creativity and individuality!

    CHALLENGED
to lose weight. My lack of discipline and botched up sleeping patterns and eating habits led me to this huge weight gain. Today, I took the first step of starting a healthier lifestyle which meant choosing better types of food to eat and not to eat in excess. I just need to be focused because all of this will payoff in the future.

    AMAZED
by the movie Silver Linings Playbook. I honestly thought it would be a boring movie but I was very wrong. Sure, at one aspect, it was sort of a rom-com but it was an unconventional rom-com movie. Some scenes were just so intense, I can't help but get teary-eyed. The cast was fantastic, too! There were bits and pieces of the movie people can definitely relate to. There were a few heart-wrenching scenes that I think was a little familiar.

    CURIOUS

of the different ways on how you can spice up food to be more visually appealing. I'm currently researching more about the low carb diet since most of the food I can eat consists of vegetables. I'm just cutting down on the carbs but it was really hard to think of a menu that is interesting enough that you can sustain for a long time. I love to eat rice so it's quite hard. But it's good that I was able to find some easy and quick recipes I can fix to keep myself on this lifestyle.
