    Patricia

Majority of my friends call me Trish, I guess you could call me that too. I'm a transcriptions editor with a really messed up body clock and never ending affinity for films, food and written words. I like street art, sweets, neutrals and monochromes, sushi, window seats, golf carts and lazy weekends.

Some of the things that completely preoccupy me are my fixation with the now defunct The Civil Wars and their beautiful art of sadness, Oh Sehun, sleeping, CSS and HTML, @iameden, and those damn hypnotizing Tasty videos. Top country in my travel bucketlist? Iceland. But the one that will always have my heart? Hong Kong.

    “And I, infinitesimal being,
drunk with the great starry void,
    likeness, image of mystery,
I felt myself a pure part of the abyss,
    I wheeled with the stars,
my heart broke loose on the wind.”

Most people ask, "Why now?" It doesn't really matter when since a problem would always be a problem regardless the season or the timing. I know it's too old of a story for other people to even lend their ear/s to listen. I refuse to be dragged to that certain feeling again. I refuse to sink for I don't know how to swim, figuratively and literally. It always starts with the never ending gasping for breath, the push and pull of the heart's strings, and the constant debate inside my head. But then again, it all boils down to the facts. I'll get to where I should be someday. I'm glad I finally mustered the strength to take the first step. And I'm thankful you did, too.

    Merry Christmas, everybody!

Now let me get back to the mixtape. Hehehe.
