    Patricia

Majority of my friends call me Trish, I guess you could call me that too. I'm a transcriptions editor with a really messed up body clock and never ending affinity for films, food and written words. I like street art, sweets, neutrals and monochromes, sushi, window seats, golf carts and lazy weekends.

Some of the things that completely preoccupy me are my fixation with the now defunct The Civil Wars and their beautiful art of sadness, Oh Sehun, sleeping, CSS and HTML, @iameden, and those damn hypnotizing Tasty videos. Top country in my travel bucketlist? Iceland. But the one that will always have my heart? Hong Kong.

I just thought of the people who have such a great impact in my life and never left me when I was all dramatic and lulzy. And I know they will never leave me even though I make such bad decisions.

I woke up around 3 in the morning feeling hungry. Wait, sorry, that's irrelevant.

Anyway, we (at work) are gearing up for the coming holiday season and preparing for our Christmas Wishlist for our Secret Santa. Haha. I was thinking the past few days about this but haven't decided on anything. Until I was able to see the wishlist of my wavemates from the other group (how unoriginal, I know) and it started me thinking of the things I want.

At the top of my list was a new charger for my phone but I need it urgently so I probably won't wait 'til Christmas for this. Hehe.

So far, here are the things that I want/need that you great people (from work, college friends, best friends, all other friends) can give me if ever you cared to read this blog. Haha!

I miss the sound of your voice
    Loudest thing in my head
And I ache to remember all the violent, sweet perfect words that you said

When I saw the trailer some time ago, I knew I had to watch it. I knew I would love it. I knew I would relate to it on so many levels. I finally got a copy and watched it. And the movie just meant so much to me.

    My favorite scenes:

Joana: "What I wouldn't give to have tired of you."

    Their mornings after:

And this is my absolute favorite:

Joana: "I think maybe, I've never wanted this to change. Everything changes, but this still hasn't. Not for me. It hasn't lessened. I saw you this morning, and in the middle of most nights when I can't sleep, I still replay you."

The movie may be a bore to some but for me, it was completely honest. And most of the lines were heart wrenching. Most of the scenes were all too familiar. And the whole story might just be a copy of a part of my life.

The boyfriend was sick 2 days in a row now but we decided  to go out today to eat (of course) and to watch a movie. We originally wanted to go to Bag of Beans but it was already late in the afternoon and no movie house was nearby the Tagaytay area, then I remembered Bialetti Caffe along Aguinaldo Highway and asked him of he wanted to give it a try, plus, we can go straight to SM to catch a movie.

Just a background, Bialetti Caffe is located at the Revilla Business Park in Cavite. Yes, it is owned by the Revillas and actually, just in front of the cafe there is a statue of former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr. And at the back, there is the Memo-Revilla (clever name, yes), a museum that houses everything movie-related with Ramon Revilla, Sr.

We went there around 1:30 pm and found it perfect that there wasn't much crowd inside.

I like how the inside is super spacious but the same time it feels super cozy, there was light music also playing. And I also liked that you could completely see the outside (traffic and all). We were given the menu, the place being a cafe, we originally wanted to try the coffee and cheesecake but since we didn't have lunch yet, we opted for those rice meals they had.

We ordered Jollibee earlier and I decided to get the Hash Brown Burger. It reminded me of the Tower Burger from KFC but the latter just disappointed me so much to the point I didn't finish the food.

I was quite skeptical at first on how this would turn out because really, the only hash brown I ever ate was from McDonald's and hash brown isn't particularly Filipino food. Plus the fact that it's only hash brown topped with cheese topped with a burger patty topped with another hash brown.

But hey! It tasted really, really good. The hash brown was thick enough (BTW, not too greasy like McD's) but not super thick to the point it overpowers the taste of the beef. It was good and I'm planning to order again soon. Hahaha. And actually, the simple combination of hash brown-cheese-patty-ketchup suites me well.

    This is a must try!

I recently acquired a Blackberry phone since my old phone (which was a touchscreen phone) went crazy. I went for a BB phone because I always thought that an iPhone is too precious to have (aka too expensive aka too out of my budget). What made me want an iPhone before is the Instagr.am, I was looking at a friend's phone before and found this app and fell in love with the photo filters it has. As I said in my previous post, I like anything instant that you can do on photos.

So when I got my phone, I tried to find out if Instagr.am can also be downloaded on BB phones--which, much to my dismay is not possible. I googled and googled and found... MOLOME!

Today was such a fun, fun, fun day because I spent it with my team mates at work. We celebrated my and another team mate's birthday. I am currently on the 2nd day of my 4 day leave/rest days from work so I actually went to the venue from my house while they came from their shifts.

    Here they are:

I love anything instant that can be done on photographs. Haha. I tried lomography before but it got too expensive for me that I sold my 2 Vivitar cameras. But I still got a bunch of Sensia rolls in my room left unused. Anyway, yeah, so I was Google-ing for photo filters on the internet and came across this post and I was just so happy.

I tried it out and gave me this result:

    Pretty neat!

I am officially 25 years of age as of today. Well, as they say age is nothing but a number (at least right now), so yeah I still feel the same. Hahaha.

Just so happened also that today is my rest day from work. Yey! I've no money yet since pay's still on the 14th. I have so much commitments lined up for the week. Foodtrip with a friend, date with the boyfriend (YES YES YES HAHA), drinking session with team mates and I'll try to squeeze in a drinking session with my two buddies.

But I just want to spend my day (today) in front of this laptop and catch up on my internet fix. Hahaha. It feels so sad to be away from the internet so long.

And since it is my birthday today, let me list down the things I am oh so thankful for:
